Isabel's E-Portfolio

  My favorite project I did this year in Core was the Native Tribe Project.  The tribe I got was the Apache Tribe.  After we were assigned into groups, we started to research and fill out work sheets about the tribe.  Next, we put our information into paragraphs.  Finally, we glued all the information onto a poster and drew pictures.  This project helped me understand how Native Americans lived before us and how they adapted to their environment.

 

  I chose to write about this project because it uses my abilities to gather information, organize it, and draw.  I used my abilities to gather and organize imformation to make paragraphs, that could be glued on a poster.  I drew small pictures of corn, buffalo, tipees, etc., to decorate the sides.  Our group had difficulties holding up the poster when presenting.  We solved this probem by passing around the poster to whoever is not talking.
