River Studies

 

    One of my favorite projects I did this year was the river studies.  The objective of this project was to learn how a river affects the environment, people living there, culture, and how humans have affected it's course.  Once we collected all of the information, we made it into a documentary.  Along with the video, we made a model.

 

    I liked this project because I could pick any river, meaning I could choose the Tippecanoe River.  I went kayaking on this river last summer and had lots of fun. Also, the Tippecanoe River is cool because there are lots of frogs and freshwater mussels that inhabit that area.
